Taylor Benoit Position: President Year: Senior Major: Hospitality Business Hometown: Rockford, MI High School: Rockford High School Favorite Event/Distance: The classic cross-country 6k and 400m in track
What brought you to MSURC? I originally joined the club my sophomore year to meet new people along with starting to run again. I ran in high school but became super burnt but after a year I was ready to begin running and racing. I soon made many friends that kept me accountable to attending practice each day and soon became involved in many of the social events. What are your favorite things about the Club? Aside from practice, I have enjoy all the social events we have. From team dinners to banquets and everything in between, I have enjoyed getting to know everyone on the Club. These events are what kept me engaged and helped me meet all of my best friends and many became my roommates. Anything else you'd like everyone to know? I am super excited to be your President this year! Joining Running Club has been the best decision I have made throughout my college career. The Club has so much to offer aside from running and you will not regret joining. Besides running, I enjoy golfing (even though I am trash), hanging out with my friends and family, and watching Netflix. One random fact about me is that I have a goldfish named Leonard that I bought from Meijer my freshman year that has traveled many times and is still kickin'! I cannot wait to meet you all this year.
IM West @ 5. Be there.

What are your favorite things about the Club? The majority of friends I have in college I've met in running club. Running Club is a great collection of like minded people, and if you're open to meeting new people, you won't be disappointed with the great people you'll meet. Anything else you'd like everyone to know? If there's one thing I could tell people about Run Club, I'd say go to as many meets as you can make it to. Whether you want to test where your fitness is or just have good conversation during the travel meet car rides, meets are the place to do it. Plus they're a good objective to stay in shape for!

Keegan Sullivan Position: Fundraising Coordinator Year: Junior Major: Comparative Cultures and Politics Minor: Spanish Hometown: Grand Rapids High School: East Grand Rapids High School Favorite Event/Distance:
About:My name is Keegan, this is my third year with Running Club, and I have the opportunity to be the Fundraising Coordinator this year. The MSU Running community is like the protagonist squad from an early 2000’s film about the intricacies of competitive cheer. Peppy, energetic, and full of characters. What I love most about this Club is that it gives people a place to meet fellow runners, workout, run competitive races, and be part of a great team. I have never been fast. I once almost horse-collar tackled a rival runner for clipping me on a tight turn. And I would go crazy without running. Club gave me a safe place to improve myself as a runner and get to know some incredible people. The races are good, the friendships are better, and the chaotic energy is powerful. I love Club for being the unabashed haven of runners it is.

Anything else you'd like everyone to know? I can't wait to be your Webmaster for the 2020-21 school year! Running is truly a passion of mine and although I would personally consider myself to be well past the "good ol' days" of my running career at the moment, I am so excited to prove myself wrong while also seeing everyone else conquer any PR that stands in their way. Outside of running, I love following any sport out there, playing basketball, watching movies, and playing the bass. I know this season will be a great one, I can't wait to see you all at practice.
