What brought you to MSURC?: "I want to make some friends! I'm training for my first half marathon this spring and wanted to be social in the process. :) " What other clubs/activities are you involved with on campus?: "Besides Running Club, I'm involved with Audio Enthusiasts and Engineers and Circle K. I’m also a research assistant in the Electric Machines and Power Electronics Laboratory, and work as a learning assistant for the Electrical and Computer Engineering department." What else would you like to share about yourself?: "I actually didn't run at all in high school; I played baseball! Outside of class, I love cooking, playing the guitar, following MSU and pro sports, and occasionally eating too many cookies. I enjoy a solid game of Settlers of Catan (looking for people to play with!). I also volunteer at the Faith Food Pantry at Lansing's Eastside Community Action Center on Thursdays!" What else would you like to share about yourself?: "I ran the Flying Pig marathon in Cincinnati (my first ever marathon) in October and qualified for Boston… so that might be what’s next for me in Spring 2022! Other than running, I’m studying for my first Step exam on my way to becoming a practicing physician. Some fields I’m considering are orthopedics, physical medicine and rehab, and sports medicine. What other clubs/activities are you involved with on campus?: "I'm a Professorial Assistant in the DeepTech Lab at MSU as well as an Undergraduate Research Ambassador with the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Office at MSU." What else would you like to share about yourself?: "I'm really interested in software engineering and game design so a lot of my studies and work on campus involves those areas. "I am involved in MSU Horsemen’s Association, I volunteer for a 4H program that pairs youth with disabilities with horses, and I work as a high school track coach and with the club downhill ski racing team." What else would you like to share about yourself? "I have a 3 year old Border Collie mix named Milo, I have 9 fingers, and I write my own music.
